Kim Colluro

My name is Kim Colluro and I was born and raised in Gainesville, GA, where I graduated from Gainesville High School. I went on to receive my B.S. in Psychology from the College of Charleston and my M.S. in Counseling from Georgia State University. I have lived in many places but for the last 20 years I have called the Braselton-Hoschton area home. It is in this area that I have raised my two amazing children Kieran and Conor. I remember when Braselton-Hoschton was nothing but pastures and wooded areas and now, with its growth, more and more people are realizing it’s a wonderful place to raise a family, retire, and just call home.

I love the sense of community that Braselton and Hoschton offer. I love going to the grocery store, the post office, or any errand and running into people I know. Taking a moment to talk and catch up on life. I love the parades on holidays, the art fairs and antique shows. The community fireworks on the 4th of July and outdoor concerts. It’s hard sometimes to escape the hustle and bustle but this community has offered so many wonderful outlets for families, friends and neighbors to come together. That’s ultimately what makes a community a home.

I spent 20 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals, couples, and families. I spent the majority of my practice helping others who struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. After taking some years off to focus on raising my children, it was time for me to go back to work. I wanted to focus on another passion in this new chapter, which is real estate. I love everything about real estate – whether it’s selling a home or finding a new house for newlyweds, a larger house for a growing family, a new start for someone who is single, or downsizing for those entering retirement. I enjoy the hunt. I enjoy showing individuals the potential each house has to offer. I enjoy working with sellers who are ready to move onto something new, but most of all I enjoy the interactions with my clients.

I am so excited to be a part of The Faces of Braselton-Hoschton. I’m excited to introduce the individuals who make up this community. My hope is that by shining a light on those who live, work, and play in our neighborhood, we will grow even closer as a community and have more individuals to wave to when we run those errands.
