Say Hello to Tamara Ward, this week’s Face of Braselton & Hoschton!

Now, in Tamara’s own words………I have been married to Kurt Ward for 16 years and we have twin boys age 12. I was raised or Orlando and went to FSU where I was recruited for my job to come to Atlanta. Kurt and I met at church in Buckhead and have lived in Braselton for almost 15 years!  I love to run, go to the beach, and watch my kids do what they love! They both play baseball, football, and run cross country so they keep us very busy!

 

Q: What do you do for a living and what do you like most about it?

“I have been doing Medical Sales for 25 years and it has been a wonderful job! I love building a relationship with my customers and providing solutions to help their practices succeed. It has also allowed me to have good work life balance and I am very grateful for that!”

Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people? Or , If you could go back in time to give yourself some wisdom, what would you say?

“Following Gods word not only makes your life better but also makes you better at life. -Andy Stanley”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

“Wherever my kids are is where I will be but then after that, you can find me at the beach!”

Q: If reading for pleasure, what do you like?

“I enjoy doing Bible studies or some type of mystery.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

“Someday I would love to go to Italy with my family. I love the food, wine, and culture and I would love to see the history through my kids eyes!”

Q: What is the most beautiful place in the world you have already visited?

“Either the Amalfi Coast in Italy or the Pacific Coast Highway in California.”

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

“My good friend Kim Colluro and we would meet at Sarazen because this is where we enjoy doing our Bible studies.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

“Cotton Calf and Paddy’s.”

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

“It will be 15 years in December!”

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

“Papa Jacks.”

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

“Our community is very welcoming to new people and very proud of where they live!”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

“Greatest Showman-I love the music! Survivor-my family and I enjoy watching this together.”

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

“I was on the water ski team in college.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

“The Bible”

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

“Yacht Rock”

Q: If you were given ONE EXTRA HOUR every day, and you could not use it for sleep, work, or with anyone else, what would you use it for?

“Go for a run or read a book by the pool/beach.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

“My family and I are attempting to hit every MLB park. We have hit 10 so far!”

Q: Favorite month? Favorite holiday? And the absolute best single day on the calendar?

“I love October because it is my birthday month and I love the fall air and taking a trip up to the mountains.”

“Comfort, Rest, Security”
